Justice Ministry Opens Applications for the Position of Investigation Secretary

The Ministry of Justice announced yesterday, Saturday, the opening of applications for the position of Investigation Secretary, from today, Sunday, until the 16th of the current month. The Ministry posted the job requirements on its X (formerly Twitter) account as follows:

First: Criteria for the position of Investigation Secretary:

- The applicant must be a Kuwaiti national.

- The applicant must have completed at least one year of service in the Ministry of Justice.

- The applicant must have received a “Excellent” rating in their most recent performance evaluation.

- The applicant must not have any disciplinary sanctions on record, unless they have been expunged.

- The employee must not be suspended from duty, referred to the Public Prosecution or the Criminal Court for a felony or a crime involving breach of honor and trust at the time of the announcement, unless the suspension period has ended, the investigation concluded with a finding of no liability, or the applicant was acquitted before the announcement period expired.

- The candidate must not have taken any leave—such as study leave, mission leave, full-time study leave, or any other type of leave—exceeding one month at the time of the announcement.

- The candidate must pass the mandatory training course for this position at the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies.

- The candidate must hold a university degree or diploma in one of the following fields: Law, Administration, Secretarial Studies, or Secretarial and Office Administration.

The position will be filled by secondment for a period of no less than one year, with suitability assessed annually. Applicants will only be confirmed in the position after their competence and suitability for the role have been verified. Applicants must be employees of the Criminal Courts Administration or the Office of the Public Prosecutor Administration.

Applicants must visit the Ministry of Justice website at www.moj.gov.kw, access the “Employment Services” link, review the requirements, and complete the job application form.
