Al Arabi parts ways with Kamel Al-Aswad

Al-Arabi Club officially terminated its contract with Bahraini international Kamel Al-Aswad, as the club’s management is currently conducting a comprehensive review of both local and foreign players in preparation for next season’s competitions. The club’s management has kept the evaluation of foreign players under strict secrecy, despite reports linking several names to the club, including Ethiopian striker Kinan Markini, the top scorer in the Omani League.

Regarding the local squad, the club announced the signing of Talal Al-Qaissy, who joins from Kazma, and Ali Al-Dokhi, who previously played for Al-Shabab and Al-Fahaheel.

Notably, Al-Akhdar (The Greens) face a continental fixture on August 12, when they will play against Indian side East Bengal in the playoff round of the AFC Champions League Two.
