Hanan Abdulmaaboud: The inspection department of the Capital Governorate at the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition conducted a supervisory campaign that resulted in the closure of four non-compliant food establishments, including two butcheries, a café, and a biscuit factory, in order to take legal action against the violators.
The closure decisions came as a result of identifying several violations, the most prominent of which were failure to adhere to general hygiene standards during operations, operating and utilizing the establishments for purposes other than those permitted, running the food establishment after its health license had expired, and the circulation of food products without meeting the approved technical and health requirements.
The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition affirmed that it will continue its inspection campaigns across various governorates and take legal measures against non-compliant establishments, thereby ensuring the protection of consumer health and food safety.
