Qatar's Foreign Ministry: Positive progress at the conclusion of separate talks between Washington and Tehran

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Qatari and Pakistani mediators concluded separate meetings in Doha with American and Iranian negotiators.

Dr. Majid Al-Ansari, advisor to the Prime Minister’s Council and the official spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated via his X social media account that “Qatari and Pakistani mediators in Doha held separate meetings with American and Iranian negotiators, where positive progress was made on issues related to the memorandum of understanding signed in Islamabad, based on the outcomes of the Lucerne Summit.” He added that the parties agreed to continue discussions in the coming period, with the date for the next meeting to be set as soon as possible.
