As is its annual tradition, the Islamic Heritage Revival Society received crowds of well-wishers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in an atmosphere of goodwill and brotherhood. The society welcomed a large gathering of citizens and residents to offer congratulations, including a number of former ministers and members of the diplomatic corps.

The society extended its highest congratulations and best wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, the Kuwaiti people, and Muslims across the globe on this blessed occasion. It also commended the efforts of donors, both citizens and residents, who have contributed their wealth in the cause of God, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

In this regard, Tariq Al-Eissa, President of the Islamic Heritage Revival Society, said: “On behalf of myself and the society’s board of directors, I extend my highest congratulations and sincerest best wishes on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan. I seize this opportunity to congratulate His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, His Highness the Prime Minister, the government, the Kuwaiti people, and our Islamic and Arab nation. We pray to God that this month becomes a month of goodness and mercy for all Muslim lands. We also ask Him to accept everyone’s fasting, night prayers, and righteous deeds, to enable people of goodness to continue giving and contributing, to perpetuate the blessings of security and stability upon our homeland, and to protect it from all harm.”

He emphasized that the society undertakes numerous projects, the most important of which is the “Race for Good,” which includes building mosques, schools, and Islamic centers, sponsoring orphans, assisting the needy within Kuwait—including orphans and impoverished families—and supporting students in the field of education. We hope that God will enable many achievements through this project. Additionally, there is the “Iftar for Fasters” project, one of the society’s flagship annual initiatives carried out both within Kuwait and abroad. We ask God for further achievements through this project.

Responding to a question about the cooperation between the Ministry of Social Affairs and the society, Al-Eissa confirmed that the Minister of Social Affairs, the Undersecretary, and all ministry staff cooperate with charitable societies, particularly the Islamic Heritage Revival Society. We have witnessed this cooperation firsthand, and we thank God for the ease and facilitation they have provided for these charitable endeavors.
