His Highness the Amir: Progress and Prosperity for Lebanon
His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, received the Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to the country. The Lebanese Minister conveyed greetings and appreciation from President Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, along with best wishes for His Highness’s health and well-being, and hopes for continued development and prosperity for the people of Kuwait. His Highness the Amir, in turn, conveyed his greetings to the Lebanese President, wishing him continued health and well-being, and expressing best wishes for the progress and prosperity of the Lebanese Republic and its people.
The meeting reviewed the close fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, as well as ways to enhance and develop these ties across various fields and to support cooperation between the two countries in ways that serve their mutual interests and shared issues.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, held a round of talks with the Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, on the occasion of his official visit to Kuwait, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahhab. During the session, the distinguished fraternal relations between Kuwait and Lebanon were reviewed, and ways to enhance security cooperation and coordination between the two countries were discussed, in a manner that serves their shared interests and contributes to supporting security and stability.
